Orig. mediryt zachytáva obliehanie pevnosti Nové Zámky (vtedy Neuhausel) cisárskymi vojskami pod velením generála Georga Baucquoysa počas proti­tureckých vojen v 17. storočí. Kompozícia z vtáčej perspektívy zobrazuje intenzívnu bojovú scénu – výbuchy diel, obliehacie línie, tábory, ako aj obranné valy a priekopy okolo šesťuholníkovej pevnosti. V pravom dolnom rohu je umiestnená menšia veduta s nápisom PRESBURG, predstavujúca pohľad na Bratislavu z južnej strany s hradným vrchom a panorámou mesta. Tento doplnkový výjav vytvára širší geografický kontext obliehania – ukazuje polohu strategicky významných miest v hornom Uhorsku počas konfliktov s Osmanskou ríšou. Mediryt vytvoril Eberhardom Kieserom, významný nemecký grafik pôsobiaci vo Frankfurte, známy sériami vojenských a mestských vedút. Jeho diela boli často súčasťou historických zbierok alebo cyklov zachytávajúcich udalosti Tridsaťročnej vojny a uhorsko-tureckých bojov.- V bielej pasparte z tvrdšieho kartónu.- Rozmer listu:32 x 28,2 cm, rozmer tlačenej plochy: 30,8 x 27, rozmer pasparty: 45x 41,5 cm.- Stred listu zo zadnej strany profesionálne spevnený,  malé dierky na tomto sklade vyplnené, užší orez na spodnej hrane, no list zachytený kompletne 

This early 17th-century engraving depicts the siege of the fortress of Nové Zámky (then Neuhäusel) by the Imperial army under General Georg von Bucquoy during the anti-Ottoman campaigns. The detailed bird’s-eye composition shows the fortified star-shaped bastion under heavy cannon fire, surrounded by Imperial siege works, cavalry, and infantry formations. In the lower right, a smaller inset “Presburg” view presents Bratislava from the south, with its castle hill and the city panorama along the Danube, situating the siege within the broader strategic landscape of western Hungary. The print was created by Eberhard Kieser, a prominent Frankfurt engraver known for his finely detailed topographical and battle scenes. Kieser’s works belong to the corpus of early modern European war iconography and are crucial visual testimonies of the Thirty Years’ War and Habsburg-Ottoman conflicts. This engraving stands as a rare early representation of Nové Zámky and an important artifact documenting Central European military history and print culture of the Baroque era.- Mounted in a white passe-partout made of firm cardboard. – Sheet size: 32 × 28.2 cm; printed area: 30.8 × 27 cm; passe-partout size: 45 × 41.5 cm. – The center of the sheet on the reverse has been professionally reinforced; small holes along the central fold have been filled; slightly trimmed at the lower edge, but the image is fully preserved.
